The Challenge-Led Applied Systems Programme (CLASP) offers funding to support the application and commercialisation of STFC research to global challenge areas. In 2022, the challenge areas will be Environment and Energy. Funded projects do not necessarily have to focus on commercialisation, particularly in the Environment theme, where demonstration of social benefit is highly valued.
We are offering a short information session for SAQN members to find out more about CLASP, including guidance from STFC on what can be funded and what makes a good application. There will be plenty of time for questions, and optional networking time at the end of the session.
We are keen to support our community to develop high quality bids for this programme, and will be offering assistance in finding bid partners and mentoring through the bid process.
Information on the previous CLASP call can be found on the STFC website.
